Paris Gone By Newsletter: Exciting Announcement!
I hope you are having happy Spring so far! With the new season, there are some exciting things going on at Paris Gone By!
I'll keep this missive short and sweet, as I have much left to do before the launch of the NEW PODCAST!!!
At long last, after a few false starts, the podcast is actually happening! 😀
The Paris Gone By Podcast will go live next week on Tuesday, April 12th. The episodes will be available on the website, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify to start, with more places to follow soon.
What to expect:
- Each episode will feature some aspect of Paris history, from big events to small.
- After the first set of two episodes, there will be two new episodes per month.
- The first two episodes unintentionally ended up being about Notre Dame, thanks to the anniversary of the fire and the discovery of a sarcophagus under the floor! Never fear, this isn't just the Notre Dame Podcast. Even though I would not-so-secretly love that. 😉
- Each episode will have detailed show notes available on the website where you can go beyond the podcast.
Don't worry, the blog posts will also continue, with more Hemingway, more history, and the latest series, France Virtuelle, which was launched last month. Each month, I will feature a handful of videos from other Paris creators that I think are worth sharing. Check out the first collection! You can also find the videos (sans my commentary) in the France Virtuelle Playlist on YouTube.
Thank you for your patience as I've been working on all the behind-the-scenes stuff for the podcast. It's been a very busy month!
